Modernizing Our Fleet 1
BBAM believes that sound environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices are critical elements of aircraft investing over the long term. For decades, aircraft lessors have supported the global expansion and democratization of air travel, which has been a catalyst for economic growth and social development.
As ESG has come to the forefront in recent years, our industry has focused increasingly on the environmental impact of air travel. BBAM is committed to helping our partners in the airline and air cargo industries achieve their ambitious environmental sustainability goals. Since 2017, BBAM has nearly tripled the share of new technology aircraft in our passenger fleet. The aircraft in our freighter fleet deliver fuel-efficient, low emission and low noise solutions to the growing global air cargo industry.
- While BBAM seeks to integrate certain ESG factors into our investment process, there is no guarantee that its ESG strategy will be successfully implemented or that BBAM’s actions will have a positive ESG impact.
